Lawyers Laureano Arquero and Catalina Pou founded the office in 1983 after amassing considerable experience in legal practice. For over thirty years, both lawyers have worked as litigators on labour, criminal, prison, civil and family law cases. Widely recognized in their field, they have appeared in courts and tribunals Spain-wide and acted in cases of great public and economic importance.
The firm has been continually evolving since its founding, adapting the services it offers to the needs of its clients and incorporating new areas of practice as well as three additional partners with career paths in different aspects of the law. In this way, the firm has been able to update, broaden and internationalize its range of professional services without sacrificing the partners’ solid litigation vocation.
The firm currently offers services in the areas of civil law, commercial law, criminal and prison law, family and canon law, labour and social security law, administrative law, and international and immigration law, delivered by qualified professionals able to operate in several languages.

Began her career with Gil-Gibernau Abogados Asociados, focusing primarily on civil and commercial law. Regional Manager of the Mediterráneo Vida-AEGON insurance company, acting in a legal capacity as well as dealing with the technical aspects of insurance law. Member of the Balearic Islands Bar Association since 2012.
Specializes in civil law, specifically in family and canon law. Master’s in Canon Law from the San Pablo University of Madrid. Qualified to practise before the Roman Rota. Master’s in Family Law from the University of the Balearic Islands. Winner of the Spanish Family Lawyers Association’s José Corrales National Award in 2014.
